NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Wampsville on the 6th day of January, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, at the Village Hall, 118 North Court Street, Wampsville, New York, to consider a proposed local law entitled, “A local law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law section 3-c for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.” This local law is intended to authorize the Village of Wampsville to exceed the tax levy cap otherwise provided under New York State law for the Village’s 2026-2027 budget and fiscal year.
All interested persons will be heard on these matters at this date and time. A complete copy of the proposed local laws are available for review at the office of the Village Clerk/Treasurer during the Clerk/Treasurer’s regular business hours.
